Video Converting - applepwns - 04-20-2009

I'm trying to upload this video to Youtube and it's not working. it's a ".mov" file. Every time I put it in iMovie it messes it up. Anyone know of some good video converting freeware that works with .mov's?

Which version of iMovie?

Are you using the Share to YouTube option?

iMovie '09. No I'm not using the Share option. I'm uploading the actual raw .mov that came out when I used my screen recording software.

Use the force, young Luke.

Share to YouTube. That's what it's there for.

Ah--so it's not the sharing part, it's the import into iMovie part that's causing you problems.

Check the movie format settings in iMovie (e.g. pixel dimensions, etc.) vs. the same for the screen recording.
