Posting a picture from Dot Mac - Bernie - 05-31-2009 The website I made Long ago with Dot Mac I can link to and post the pictures from. ![]() The website I made with iWeb I can not link to. I use to be able to pull a link from my iWeb pages. Enough already. How do I use Dot Mac to host a picture to post here? ![]() Dug deep into my iDisk and and played a bit. Much to geeky for a Mac. What is the no brainer way that I expect from a Mac. Re: Posting a picture from Dot Mac - laarree - 05-31-2009 Here's what I do: I put a image (usually a jpg), into my iDisk Pictures folder. The URL for such an image is homepage.mac.com/YourDotMACUserName/.Pictures/imagename.jpg Of course, there should be a http:// before that URL, but if I put that in here, the Forum software attempts to make it an active link and doesn't display the text literally. Now every time I go to Photobucket it thinks I am that person, I can even get access to account options. Scary! I will go clean my cookies. |
