Forwarding a text to email? Printing it out? - john dough - 06-01-2009

Is this possible? My client has a non-jailbroken iPhone and needs a record of a text message. He is dealing with a tenant that did some damage to a property and the text has the admission that he (the tenant) was responsible.

Any ideas?

Digital photo of the screen? Photocopy?

You can take a picture of the screen on the iPhone by pressing the home and power button. It then saves the screen capture as a picture which is... in the Photos. You can then email the Photo.

I gave up. He made a screen shot, converted it to a PDF and emailed himself.

Cut & paste will be a nice update (if that is going to happen in iPhone software 3.0).
