Cocktail refused to quit - mrthuse - 03-25-2006 Ran Cocktail in Pilot mode this afternoon on an eMac 780/1/10.3.9 and could not quit the program after Pilot completed its run. Accessed menu, chose "Quit Cocktail", Cocktail header in menu stayed blue and the spinning beach ball of death spun for about 3 minutes. Could not force quit; no response from machine. Held down power button for several seconds to shut down, restarted and all seems ok. Any idea what went down and/or if there's anything I should be on the lookout for? I've tried it with no harm on my Mac, but just do not have confidence in Coctail. This doesn't help you now, but I recommend Onyx, or maybe one of the other maintenance...
