The donationware, Chax just came out with tabbed chats, which allows iChat users to optionally keep all chats together in one window. I know this has been available on every other IM app since the 90s, but it's great that it's finally available for iChat.
The tabs turn red if someone has responded, so all you need to do is quickly scan the tabs to see whom you need to respond back to. I love this thing.

Works great, been using Chax since November, glad you posted it Tuqqer.
Since DealMac/ThisPlace have much the same personalities, I was a little gunshy about posting iChat stuff, got slammed a few times for posting iChat information.

Chax has a number of other good features as well, but I won't be needing the tabbed function. I don't see how anyone can keep 2 or more IM sessions going at once without short-changing one of the parties involved.
