geez, that is tempting, although I'm trying to keep a new notebook under $1000.
I've got until Saturday to pull the trigger, but by then the iPods may be gone....

You could sell the Touch to offset the cost of the MBP. Around here people are asking $175-200 for the 8GB Touch on Craigslist.
