got one about 5 weeks ago, and it did well as a pocket camera in Mexico the last 2 weeks. Shutter can be slow to react sometimes.

Doesn't get very good reviews on Amazon... especially in comparison to Canon.

but for $55 shipped, great for a kid. I still like my Canon A570is better, but it IS thicker.

I'm not trying to compare to a specific canon... only to say the amazon user comments were very mediocre compared to most canon cameras you might check. True, you won't find a canon for $55 so if one is willing to take a chance on this less expensive camera... let's hope he/she gets one of the good units.
