Mary Travers of the folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary died earlier today. She was 72 and had leukemia.

That's sad. I met Peter in Toronto nce. My band started playing a set at a folk convention and Peter walked up to the front row and watched. It was pretty cool. Then he met us backstage and bought a CD and got us to sign it. I wish I could have seen them all sing in person.

I heard my first PP&M song in grade school music class (early 70's). My favorite is "Where Have All The Flowers Gone".
