How is Snow Leopard on a core duo macbook? Worth it? - Anthony - 09-23-2009 Interested if anyone installed it on a macbook Core Duo. Notice performance gains? Graphics? Anthony Re: How is Snow Leopard on a core duo macbook? Worth it? - DharmaDog - 09-23-2009 I put it on my wife's black MacBook Core Duo 2.0Ghz with 2GB RAM and it seems fine. Not much change over Leopard in terms of performance. Haven't spent a lot of time with it though. Re: How is Snow Leopard on a core duo macbook? Worth it? - Sam3 - 09-24-2009 I have installed SL on my 1st gen Intel mini (1.83GHZ) as well as the first gen MBP (same processor) and the mini seems speedier. The MBP seems at times a bit sluggish, though i really haven't had a chance to play with it as much as I have with the mini. The mini seems to open windows faster, apps launch faster, Safari's web sites load faster, and just in general it feels peppier. Re: How is Snow Leopard on a core duo macbook?
