Has anyone used more than one of these remote switch packs? Question answered! - olnacl - 10-14-2009 I have this one ![]() and would like to add another - possibly in the same or an adjacent room. They are RF controlled and I wonder whether they all use the same frequencies, so pressing the #1 (for example) button on one remote would trigger the load on both #1 devices. I read the reviews on Amazon but nobody mentioned having more than one set of three. On another web site, a buyer mentioned a european model that had assignable frequencies but apparently it is not available in the US. I could probably get this one and likely not have a conflict, but I don't like the separate on-off buttons. Searching further, I found this information here: The switches are manufactured in lots of 10,000 with each using a unique frequency combination No two switches in each lot use the same frequency so multiple remotes will not interfere with each other. wrote: Cool. I discovered you must keep a few inches of space between each outlet. Good to know about the 'batch' runs, thanks! Re: Has anyone used more than one of these remote switch packs? I bought a couple of the ones with mini extension cords attached at separate times and it was possible to open up both the remote and outlet to change dip switch settings to change the channel. I don't remember how many different channels there were though. Re: Has anyone used more than one of these remote switch packs?
