food and plastic containers - lazydays - 10-23-2009 I've been buying my milk in plastic containers and I'm considering a change. I've read about food contacting plastic and causing a health problem. I don't have the option of buying in glass so I'm wondering if I should switch to cardboard/wax boxes? Any problems with those? Are there hormone issues in milk? I'm trying to make some changes. I don't know which may be "healthier", but in our experience the plastic containers seem to shorten the shelf life of the milk itself.
