Applying for a job at the Apple Store. Should I...? - apocketfulofwry - 11-02-2009

Should I apply online via the Apple website, or go to each store in person?

Probably a better chance of becoming employed by applying online, but if you really want to work at a particular store just go there and inquire.

Seriously, dress like they do!

I was once told to apply online by an employee at the local store.

If you don't want to get paid that would be the perfect solution.

No, really - don't go in a B suit; dress casual and hip -- since you're a macresourcer, that should be easy! ;->

What I meant was you could just show up dressed like you work there and people would start asking you questions. You could be a volunteer employee and nobody would know.

apple's site implies that your rez goes on file for each job you apply to (the positions are explained) and is there for all the stores as a resource, great if you live in an area w/ multiple locations

if not, well i guess i'd go down to see if they're hiring.

generally retail managers tend to be around early in the day and early in the week.

good luck
