Disney Got the Rights to This Doctor Who Character... - Doc - 11-24-2009 Disney got the rights to use K-9 from Doctor Who. This is not a joke. I'm a little late to it, but I've seen the pilot for their new "K-9" show, made for Disney's XD Channel. The pilot aired in the UK, but the show is made for Australia (and allegedly Poland). They ordered 26 episodes so even It's pretty much the most stupid piece of crap on television. "Viva la Bam" has better dialog. The intent is clearly to make a very low-budget Power-Rangers-meets-Sarah-Jane-Adventures rip-off, but "Power Rangers" looks like Shakespeare next to this stuff. I always thought that the image if Leela holding a whip and K-9 saying "Mistress" was desperately naughty Re: Disney Got the Rights to This Doctor Who Character... - mikebw - 11-24-2009 Doc wrote: (tu) Re: Disney Got the Rights to This Doctor Who Character... - Doc - 11-25-2009 AAA wrote: So, go download it, watch it and judge for yourself.
