I thought they had stopped the practice. I was wrong. - kap - 11-24-2009

Placed an online order for a store pick-up of a USB microphone for my brother's Toshiba laptop. I did not carefully check the package before taking it all the way home. Then I found out that the package has already been torn and patched up with clear tape. Should I just try out the accessory or taking it back to the store? My brother lives 4 hours away from the nearest Frys. I live 15 miles from it.

I never had any reason to think Fry's stopped that.

I returned a dead hub to Frys. They replaced it with a new one, but I found the one I returned back on the shelf.
