It seems the store in Duluth, GA is the only one that has them according to Slickdeals. That's
a great deal but that's a 4 hour drive for me. I've been in that store, it was awesome, wish we
had one nearby.

I found this post there interesting...

Anything ending with a $xxxx.90 is a discontinued item ( Ex- Fry's employee ). Good luck finding it.

Incredible price for a 1080p display but not in the local paper or http://www.frys-electronics-ads.com/#TV.

Frys.com lists no stock in California from what I could see.

That's a fantastic price for that unit. I payed $1000 two years ago for the 720p version of that TV, and that was a great price at the time.

Amazing deal, hope someone here gets it! I got my version of that TV (also 720) for about 899 in April of '08. Bundled with a Panasonic 5-disc home theater system (250+ value), super deal.

Shows available at $249 for me.
But close to 600w power consumption? That's just nuts.

O am not sure of this model, but the newer models are rated at 490W MAX, but average is more like 180W
