Chair and 1/2 with Sleeper - kap - 12-02-2009 Two questions: 1) Has anyone had any experience with the following furniture or similar item? http://www.furniturexo.com/Intermission-Mocha-Chair-1-2-with-Sleeper-p-14509.html?cPath=36 2) Where to buy floor models? We are in the San Gabriel Valley, CA. This will be in our homeoffice/guest bedroom, which currently has no bed nor sofa. Re: Chair and 1/2 with Sleeper - macphanatic - 12-02-2009 Can't help you, but make sure to pull one out and lie down on it to determine comfort. Some of these pull-outs are terrible to sleep on. Re: Chair and 1/2 with Sleeper - raz - 12-02-2009 Mom has one of those. It's fine. The bed part is a bit narrow for my tastes, but as a fold-out it's fine for visitors. We're east coast, so I can't help you there. Re: Chair and 1/2 with Sleeper - olnacl - 12-02-2009 As an owner and occasional user of a sleeper sofa, the thing I'd recommend is to pay extra for an inflatable mattress. It makes a night and day difference. I paid more for a La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa than I should have and skipped the inflatable mattress. After sleeping on it myself, I went and paid full pop for the inflatable mattress and gave the one it came with to a friend to put on top of his hide-a-bed mattress. It's worth the money if it's offered. Re: Chair and 1/2 with Sleeper - kap - 12-02-2009 olnacl wrote: Thanks for the tip. I wish I could afford the $6000 sofa/twin sleeper that a good friend has. It was one of the most comfortable sleeper sofa I have ever felt. |
