The 'newest' car he's restored so far was a 1014 Renault. The work he does is amazing. I almost bought a Jaguar SS 100 for $3800 back in the '50s, but my oldest car was an 1948 Olds 98 convertible. Over thanksgiving weekend we drove down to see the National Automobile Museum (formerly Bill Harrah's collection) in Reno. They had a whole slew of magnificent vintage cars. It has always been his favorite car and now he's making a street rod out of it. Gotta love those old cars!! |
