Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - Rick-o - 12-03-2009 I believe I would convert my half dozen or so magazine subscriptions over to this format if it becomes reality. Very slick, and that thing sure does look and act like an oversized iPhone/Touch! What do you think? http://www.businessinsider.com/look-its-a-copy-of-sports-illustrated-from-the-future-2009-12?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+typepad%2Falleyinsider%2Fsilicon_alley_insider+%28Silicon+Alley+Insider%29 Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - blusubaru - 12-03-2009 Very nice! Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - ztirffritz - 12-03-2009 Mark my words. Magazine/Newspaper subscriptions are coming to iTunes, and soon. Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - jardster - 12-03-2009 Cooler than I thought. Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - RAMd®d - 12-03-2009 Safari can’t connect to the server. Damn. That wasn't the SI Swimsuit Issue, was it? Mark my words. And whole lot of other people's words before you. Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - michaelb - 12-03-2009 Glad I watched it. I don't really like SI when I pick it up, but this looks nice. One of the things I can't understand about the internet is why there is not, and has never been, a good web site for sports. This looks like what that could be. WOW! YES! - RAMd®d - 12-03-2009 Ok, I got through. VERY nice, indeed. Navigation is very Apple-like. That 'rendition' of a tablet looks a lot like the iPhone or an Apple Display. Probably a coincidence. Is Time going to release their own tablet. Seems unlikely to me. And if that was an Apple product-to-be, is Stevie clenching at that ad/demo? Or is this the first official unofficial stir of the pot? With navigation like that, I'd be subscribing to a a few more magazines. HD or SSD, I wonder. Mark my words: Comic Books! (Graphic novels would be trés cool, too.) Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - mattkime - 12-03-2009 WOW! its like the kindle! IN COLOR! Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - sekker - 12-03-2009 The first editions of interactive comic books were shown off this summer in the new iTunes media format. This Sports Illustrated video looks great. Re: Interesting Demo Of What Sports Illustrated Would Be Like On A Tablet - RAMd®d - 12-03-2009 its like the kindle! IN COLOR! You actually haven't used a Kindle, have you. Didn't think so. |
