This book was recommended on a segment of Morning Edition and I had not heard of it
but it sounds very interesting to lovers of film photography.

In my opinion viewing contact sheets is one of the best teaching experience for starting photographers.
From my own experience they do reveal a side of the photo session that can not be appreciated
by just looking at final edited work. Some of my favorite sessions have been printed as a series of frames
that tell the story much better than a single image. This looks like an interesting book for my collection.
Thumbnail views and edited PS contact sheets just don't have the same feel to me
