Mac Pro DVD burner reccomendations - john dough - 12-04-2009 The Sony that shipped with my MacPro is all of the sudden producing tons of coasters. The 2nd drive (Pioneer 116D) has always been slower than the Sony so I am going to change them both out. Will any IDE DVD burner work? I have no need to burn/view blu ray media, just DL DVDs.
