Wish me luck!

Should go smoothly -
A coworker of mine just did that last week - never used a Mac before in his life, and he had no problem installing Snow Leopard.

Edit - wait - dual-boot? Nevermind. Good Luck with that...

Yeah. That's the "wish me luck" part!

My 10V is arriving tomorrow. Please let me know how it goes as I'd like to do the same.

I've seen a lot for dual booting with Windows7, but can't find one for dual boot and XP.

Which instructions are you following?

I'm going to give these a shot. Example 2. However, I forgot that my external drive is FW and NOT USB! I will continue with the Windows portion once I get one.

Well?????

Well. Not so good. I tried it both ways. No go on the XP side.
I'm just going to use it as a Snow Leopard machine unless/until I find a guaranteed workaround.
I guess I just need to try not to install too much stuff on here that will then have to be reinstalled later!
