way to view PDFs in Firefox? - Mr Downtown - 02-21-2010 I get tired of copying and pasting PDF links into Safari. Surely by now there must be some reliable and easy way to view PDFs in Firefox for Tiger? No? Re: way to view PDFs in Firefox? - AlphaDog - 02-21-2010 This doesn't work? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/versions/7518 Re: way to view PDFs in Firefox? - Paul F. - 02-21-2010 Right click, "save link as", doesn't do it for you? I've never found any web browser add-on that doesn't bung up at least 20% of PDF's anyway... so I quit using 'em. But yes, there is that Firefox PDF plug-in. Re: way to view PDFs in Firefox? - GGD - 02-21-2010 Have you tried this? http://www.schubert-it.com/pluginpdf/ Re: way to view PDFs in Firefox? - Mr Downtown - 02-21-2010 AlphaDog wrote: No. It seems to install, but if I navigate to a PDF, after a few seconds it says "Done" in the lower left corner but the window stays blank. Re: way to view PDFs in Firefox? - AlphaDog - 02-21-2010 Did you try it more than once? The first time I used it, the same thing happened. I thought that was strange, so I tried again. It's worked properly ever since. ???? Don't know what else to say! I use FF 3.0 and 10.4 on the computer. Re: way to view PDFs in Firefox? - Speedy - 02-22-2010 I'm with Paul, download it to your hard drive and view the PDF with Preview. |
