Looks fantastic.

And better yet, it's neither tied to microsoft or Intel.

That new screen is a real advantage. Too bad Apple did not grab that technology.

That "fantastic" screen is unproven.

BTW, the chart on that linked page is wrong. It's missing entries under "Other" for the iPad. It shows "No" under multi-tasking for the iPad which, of course, is incorrect and the same for "Storage".

How dense would you have to be to believe a trackpad is a selling point on a touchscreen device? That just proves how little optimizing they'll be doing of their OS to cram it into a device it wasn't built for. Unless I'm missing something. Isn't that kind of like putting a thinkpad-style eraserhead joystick in the middle of a desktop keyboard when you've got a perfectly good mouse sitting right there?

iPad isnt even out yet but they already have an "iPad killer"?

One could make a case for the ThinkPad-type input on a desktop keyboard even with a mouse available, but a trackpad on a touch screen device? That makes no sense to me.

I've been hearing and reading a lot of good reasons to develop a new OS and not use a desktop OS for tablet devices. And a trackpad still doesn't make sense.

Oh, and even though the link isn't working for me, Apple is doomed.

There's a lot of positive buzz about the Pixel Qi screen. Whether it lasts in the 'wild' on a lot of machines is still unknown. I remember there being similar questions on the glass screen for the first iPhone.

Not sure about the trackpad; they showed multi-touch, however - so the trackpad just seems to be an add-on.

The swivel camera looks good, too.
