I don't work for anyone online for deals. I just post them where I find them. Adorama. BH, buydig, amazon, JR, whatever is the cheapest and legit. Cheapest online price for new USA legit is $1699.99. Seeing as the Adorama refurbs are practically new, $300 off is a nice deal. Please tell me how this refurb price is not a deal compared to new and will post that deal.

All those sellers under 1699 are "upsellers". Good luck trying to get that price with a USA warranty. When you order someone will call and tell you it is out of stock unless you buy some BS package. It will be a huge hassle. Go ahead and try. Those nextag reseller ratings are not worth much. If you do get this at those lower prices, post a receipt and let us know those places are legit.
Believe me, if BH and Adorama, the two largest could sell at that price for a USA warranty item, they would.
I have been posting on this board since it's inception and several years on the other forum. I don't work for anyone that sells cameras. I am an experienced photographer and have bought from the places I recommend. I know upsellers when I see them.

"Import" and Gray market cameras have warranties that require you to typically send to the seller for service, not a factory authorized service.
Digital Megastore price $1395 is gray market non USA warranty.

Primo is $1309 and does not specify if it is a USA warranty.
Camerakings is $1319 and it is "gray market" aka "import"
42nd doesn't even show the correct picture of the camera and is a known pressure upseller.

Looks like the adorama refurb has an adorama warranty so you could just roll the dice on imports. Just make sure the place will be around in a year if you need to send it to them for a fix.
My understanding is Canon will fix gray market once you run out of warranty at your own cost. Nikon will not fix gray market gear. even if you are paying.
It is your money, do with it as you please.

Thanks pRICE cUBE. I'm in the market for a low-end independent film camera.
I really want the 7D, but my canon lenses are EF, not EF-S.
I'm not sure how badly the EF lenses would be limited on an EF-S mount.
I'm considering going el cheapo with the DMC-FZ35
