Good toolbar for Safari? - samintx - 04-09-2010
I love and use the PC toolbars but the Mactel for my mac I downloaded is wimpy. I don't want to use some other browser unless I absolutely have to on my Macbook....anything good I can download?

I don't want either. Are you trying to indicate this on a PC? or what? I don't understand. Or are you saying only bad programs for mac and mactel should be taken off my computer?

Suzanne, Safari already has a toolbar, even on the Mactel. Is there something missing?

Exactly what is this software called Mactel that you are complaining about? A google search didn't give me any clues.

There are toolbars for FireFox on the Mac, but none, AFAIK, for Safari.
Then there all the wonderful toolbars and addons on Windows that attach themselves to your browser whether you want them to or not.
I do not know if any of these are available for Mac.

The tool bar is so wimpy...nothing like on the PC. I have Google and Yahoo toolbars on my PCs and use then all the time.The tool bar in Safari is inadequate IMO. Thanks...I guess that is another thing I'll have to do without on the Macbook. I don't like the Bookmark system which isn't like the old system....either.

I can't get the icons to sit in the tool bar. I got this screen but when I dragged the icons nothing happened.
