Printer problem, can anyone help? - JEBB - 04-12-2010
I was gifted a Oki B4300 laser printer but I can't get it to work. I want to use it attached to the USB port on my AEBS replacing a Cannon inkjet printer. Whether I have attached to my MacBook or to the AEBS it won't print and always gives me this message: Network host '127.0.0.1' is busy; will retry in 20 seconds...
Anyone recognize my problem and can suggest a fix? Thanks.

Okidata knows...
It wants to connect to you via Ethernet. And it's hard coded to an address outside of your range (probably.. Maybe). Read the manual and figure out how to reset it and set it up to print via USB. Or.. hey... just plug it into your AEBS on the Ethernet side (of course you'll need a small switch to do that, they're cheap).
