Just heard this, and this link also states it, that the study into unintended acceleration is estimated to take 15 months.

The National Academy of Sciences’ National Research Council will examine the broad subject of unintended acceleration and electronic vehicle controls across the entire industry over the course of 15 months.

Wonder if this will set a precedent?
Take another few million, and large staff to look into this Lexus GX roll-over issue, now, too?

Never believed it, just like the Audi 5000. All driver error imho.
