Hm. That sounded so much more innocent in my head.
This was honestly one of my less enthusiastic Apple purchases (do I need this?...)but now that I have it, really enjoying it.
That is not at all a rare reaction. A lot of critics of the iPad found themselves getting very attached to it after they've used it awhile. I've heard several tech writers/podcasters do a 180 compared to their attitude before it shipped.

I agree. I was just saying tonight that the "magical" thing sounds silly. I know Steve used that phrase at the intro, but it really sounds like he has been spending too much time around the Disney people.

Well, what do you all use it for, specifically? When you're at Panera, e.g., do you have a stand for it or do you hold it up with one hand to read? Put it on your lap to type?
