Recommendations for posters/large format prints - datbeme - 05-28-2010

In the past, I've dabbled in 16x20 and 20x30 print sizes for promotional posters from likes of Costco or Ritz. I've been quite satisfied with the quality and price, but this has been for my own use and I wasn't taking much of a gamble if things weren't perfect.

I'm working on some really cool photoshop designs for my son's baseball team, and I'd like to offer them to the other parents in a poster size. I'm not trying to make a lot of money here, but I know there's a strong interest from the parents, and it might be kind of fun. I just want something of a good quality that I can offer for a fair price.

What other printing options should I consider for this?

I don't have an exact size in mind, but I was thinking of maybe 16x20 or perhaps 24x36 trimmed into 2-wide horizontal images. Quantity-wise, we're probably talking a dozen or so team prints and maybe a dozen individual prints customized to the player.

Please share your experiences with poster prints. Thanks!

I would stay with Costco.

I've used the fuji metallic poster prints and costco. I find costco's to be superior...especially in lustre finish.
