tugger, I have the same setup and the same problem.
I just go to the "control center" and edit the threads I'm following.

Adopt the one email notice format used by other forums. Send us one email and until we click back on that and clear things DON"T sent any more. It creates major inbox clutter and serves no purpose.
ONE EMAIL UNTIL WE RESPOND will serve everyone just fine.

I agree. The multiple e-mail notices has been enough to keep me out of this forum. And, just now, I find
is disabled. Same as on dealmac. How come? What's the disadvantage to it? Those > symbols look terrible & make nested quotes impossible to follow.

Update: as of yesterday, the Stop Following Thread feature is now working.
