Just seeing his skull, with the iron, and knowing he lived, and got around under his own power, is amazing enough.
Sounding very hopeful for Congresswoman Giffords. Here's wishes for a speedy recovery (as much as may be possible).

I remembered it from high school science class. i guess our understanding of him has changed.
I'm certainly happy to hear positive news but i'm also very much concerned with more subtle damage. maybe cbelt can speak to that since he's aware of what soldiers go through. Lew Zealand wrote:

Great news that she's getting up and moving. I totally believe that getting out of the hospital ASAP and heading to rehab is the best route to her recovery.
I just saw another story a few minutes ago saying that she is even using an iPad! To me, that's a very good sign. :-) "She is beginning to stand with assistance, she is scrolling through an iPad -- these are all fantastic advances for her.
