If you're near a MicroCenter B&M store, you can get the Core i5 2400 3.1 {faster} for
$150 + the same mobo for another $95 = $245.
Not too bad if you've already got RAM, HD, etc. on hand.

btw, the Sony burner in the TD package is a real POS :wink:

i7-2600k going for $279 at MicroCenter. That's a 4.5GHz minimum... with right cooling (air)
