First of all, did I say that Apple dropped the ball on this one? No. My disagreement is with the word "amazing". Apple did some, yes, but it's a meh. If you don't like my opinion then you don't like my opinion just as I didn't like the use of the word "amazing" to characterize Apple actions.
Second, does it matter what my company did or did not do? That's not really relevant to my point is it?

Oh, on a personal note about charity, this year I have spent C$500 on a stray cat that was attacked by a stray dog.
Last year, I spent over C$3000 or more on stray cat bills.
I think I've got more right than anyone on here to label something as "amazing" when it comes to charity.
