.....Laurence FISHburne did not renew his contract with CSI (CRIME Scene Investigation - the original show)....

CSI Shocker: Laurence Fishburne Out!

.....After two-and-a-half seasons, Laurence Fishburne is leaving CSI.

The Oscar-nominated actor’s contract with the show was up and he opted not to renew it, confirms a source. He’s expected to return to features full-time.

It was a major coup for CBS to land Fishburne as a successor to original star William Petersen, who left the series in December 2008.....

FISH gotta swim.....birds gotta fly......I gotta'........??

.....and more David E. Kelley drama.....all his shows have revolving doors for characters (often barely introducing a character before they are dropped)....not even one season and it has begun with 'Harry's Law'......two characters have been dropped for next season.....

Harry's Law Parts Ways With Brittany Snow and Aml Ameen

....The jury is in, and it appears neither Brittany Snow nor Aml Ameen will be a part of the second season of Harry’s Law.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Snow and Ameen have parted ways with the show in what an insider describes as a “mutual decision” with producers. Both actors have been invited to return as guest stars.

The NBC legal dramedy from David E. Kelley opened strong at midseason and with decent numbers throughout its freshman run — and opposite heavy (and sexier) hitters Castle and Hawaii Five-0 — made a case for renewal. Yet along the way, it could be argued, it never knew quite what to do with Jenna and Malcolm, the secretary and street kid-turned-paralegal respectively played by Snow and Ameen......

I ain't MISSING you at all....since you've been gone....??

Agent: I've got some good news and some bad new for you.

Actor: OK, what's the good news?

Agent: You got a job on Spooks!

Actor: What's the bad news?!

Agent: You got a job on Spooks.

Actor: Damn.

Agent: Oh, and don't buy a house or a car.

I don't see it at all shocking that Fishburne left the show. He brought a lot to it, but it didn't give him much. He was great on the show.

I'm not shocked, but I am disappointed. But not as much as Fishburne was with his daughter.
