iPhone/battery life/restore/WiFi loss !@#$%&!
#1
Reliable, babied iPhone 3G suddenly started losing battery charge in less than a day.
Researched on web. Tried several proposed solutions. A full "restore" did the trick; battery now behaving properly. :-)

But...
Now iPhone appears to be no longer getting proper WiFi connection to my Airport Extreme. Sad
It' sees the Airport and shows strong signal, but cannot make a successful connection to my ISP - Comcast - for email or the Web.
It does not appear to have anything to do with Comcast, as all our ethernet connected Macs are having no problems.

I've looked on the Internet, but can't find any discussion about this particular malady.

Did the iPhone restore somehow bollix up its WiFi settings in a manner not obvious to me? :S

I'd just do a restore again.

Do you have other Wi-Fi devices that are working properly? Just trying to rule out an issue with the router.

But yeah, restore again. Worse case, restore as new.

forget the connection, then re-authenticate?
