iCloud Mail w/Xeon 10.6.8
#1
Although my new refurb MBA will be my main machine, I would like to sync iCloud Mail (only) with my Xeon 10.6.8.
I have found this info.

Has anyone any experience doing this?

It really is a pain to try to get Snow Leopard to work with iCloud. I finally got my iCal to sync with iCloud, but it can only read. I cannot make changes with the SL iCal. Address book? Difficult. A quick glance at the work around for the mail sync seems to be on par with everything else in SL. Jerry rig it so it thinks it's doing the right thing.

Any reason not going up to Lion or ML? I made the jump, finally, and while it has a few annoying things about it, it's not a bad experience overall. I would assume the Xeon processor should be able to handle it? Please correct me if I am wrong.

I think Xeon will do Lion but not ML without rigging of it's own.
