You know it's that time of year when...

...you're awakened at all hours of the night by the "patching out" of the SS 396 Chevelles, the GTO's, the Roadrunners, etc., etc... Yes, it's Dream Cruise time in Detroit. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to shoot any pix as we have so much to do on our yards that we'll be stuck at home. Perfect weather is predicted all weekend-sunny and upper 70's to 80º, sorry, Southerners...

It's supposed to rain here all weekend, but I guess you knew that already. Rained just before I got up, and is sort of misty now. Sorry you can't go enjoy the cars, but enjoy your nice weather.

I am one of those that just doesn't get how the Lions fill Ford Field every game. As long as William Clay Ford owns the Lions they will always be Kittens...

Considering how dangerous Detroit and its suburbs are, its best the muscle cars stay at top speed, and leave the state.

Top 25 most dangerous neighborhoods in the US http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/neighbo...hborhoods/ Detroit has the top 3, as well as #7, and Saginaw and Flint are represented as well.

2 of my 3 Buicks came from the Fremont, CA plant, which is now housing the Tesla assembly line. Of course, the other 90% of the plant is empty.

Ok, Racer X or should I say Debbie Downer. :poke:

Woodward Ave in broad daylight with a couple hundred thousand people around is pretty safe.
