Shipping iPhone to England

Can an iPhone 4 (unlocked) be mailed/shipped to England from the US; any export restrictions or other issues that would prevent it?

Unless it is being transhipped through Nigeria, no. Box it with the correct customs declaration and you'll be fine.

The obvious question.. will it be compatible with that cell system. As I recall, the 4 was not a 'world phone'... the 4s was.

Postal Service gave me a hard time recently about shipping a camera overseas that might have a lithium battery inside.

An AT&T 4 should be fine, while a Verizon 4 wouldn't work in most countries.
