Damn.
So I just finished watching The Guardian with the actors that many love to hate.
The cast also included Bonnie Bramlett who did a scene and sang two songs-- Hold On, I'm Coming and Love and Happiness. She did a great job, so I head over to Amazon then iTunes to pick 'em up.
They're $1.29 at iT and $.99 at Amazon. I think one of them was Album Only so it's off to iT. The version from the soundtrack was $1.29, but I see it from another album that's 1s shorter, so it must be the same and it's only $.99.
iT give you 90s to listen, and I do. The cheaper version isn't exactly the same as the one from the OST. It sounds like they took the original version and re-recorded her vocal over it.
A huge improvement. Her voice sounds so much better than her earlier years. More energy, more power, more "character". I bought a few more cuts from some of her later stuff and was really pleased. I enjoyed her music years ago and sort of rediscovered her lately.
What a great voice.
