We're in the danger zone here in lower Michigan. We have a high wind warning and already there is a tornado watch for IL, IN, and (so far) southwest lower MI. Weather Channel has a 50% chance for tornadoes for lower Michigan and, worse, 90% chance for central IL and IN. Got my camera ready and gasoline for the generator.
You all keep an eye to the sky...

My only worry at the moment is they are doing repair work on my building (highrise in Chicago.) They have been rebuilding all the balconies and my tier is the last one to be completed.
On Thursday, they placed my new railings on the balcony, but they are not installed yet. The big part of the railing is tied to the handle on the balcony door which is not exactly secure. The small railing is just sitting on the balcony floor behind the small wall I have. I'm most concerned about that piece.
They nailed my balcony door shut last March when they began the work so we can't just go out there and pull the pieces inside and with these winds, I don't think the guys can go up in the scaffolding. Not sure what's going to happen here....

Thanks for the warning.. Looks like it's blowing south of us in Cleveland. I'm still keeping the Alert function active on the iPhone. The good news is that *all* the leaves will be on the ground finally, and we can scoop 'em up and put them in the mulch pile.
