Ugh. All short links are blocked for me. It would be cool if the forum auto expanded (resolved?) short links at the time of posting.

I never even notice the ads on my Kindle. They aren't there while you are using it.

So much for free 2-day shipping. My refurb arrived today (less than 24 hours after). The packaging was barebones - the box is plain brown with a plastic wrap keeping the Kindle Fire from moving around, similar to the Gazelle iPad/tablet boxes they'll send you. The Fire and a USB cord were the only things included. Otherwise, it looks brand-new.
However,the Kindle Fire was already registered to my Amazon account and charged up. I've been downloading some apps and watching Battlestar Galactica: Revealed on Amazon Prime Video. I've also been side loading some books from my Dropbox account to the Overdrive application.
So far, so good. I like it better than my Nook Color already. I need to get that re-rooted and ready for sale on eBay.
