tempting... but why? I already have a Powerbook G5 1.5 GHz maxed out (2 GB RAM) that I don't use anymore. I am trying to get rid of stuff, I should really skip this.

Mmm, Velocity Engine!
It's not hard to trace the iTrashcan back to the Cube, except the Cube can upgraded.

The Cubes are claimed but not the displays. All of the Apple LCD displays were designed for use with the Cube. The spring loaded part of the back leg on the 23" ADC LCD has worn out. I used the display by putting that leg on a rubber mouse pad so it would have enough friction to maintain the proper angle. I do not know what a proper fix involves.
I also have one DVIator. "The DVIator (pronounced "deviator") for ADC displays. The device lets you use Apple ADC displays on computers with the industry standard DVI video port."

Sending this message from the Cube using TenFourFox! Woohoo! Had to reset the PRAM to get the display to work, but all is well now.
Thanks again, Speedy - this is way cool! |
