iMac 2.7 i5 RAM?
#1
Took a summer off from using my office iMac.

It has had RAM issues for quite a while--exacerbated by my losing the reciept from the vendor. It's crashed twice today while doing some video intensive work. I should just bite the bullet and replace the RAM.

Is Crucial still the most fail safe option for buying RAM?

Yep.

I would not say that Crucial is "the most fail safe", but they are good. However, I always buy RAM from OWC. I have used their RAM for perhaps 15 different Macs, and have yet to have one problem. Only one of those Macs has been scrapped/recycled.

Either of the above have worked for me.
