I see nothing of any interest to me.

:agree:

Most dismaying:

. . . the world is currently plagued by 600 million PCs over 5 years old that are still in use. His [Tim Cook's] solution: replace all those resilient computers with a smaller version of the 13-inch iPad Pro that they released this past fall.

He doesn't get it, does he? Some of us with old computers want to replace them with newer computers, not tablets for media consumers.

Can someone ask him to license the Mac OS to another computer maker? He clearly has no interest in it.

He doesn't get it, does he?

I think he gets it more than you'd ever give him credit for.

My perspective is that he misspoke, and realized it soon enough.

But one can't unring the bell, and it becomes fodder for experts.

Evidence?

iPhones and iPads are cash cows for Apple. Computers? Not so much. I'd guess he'd be happy if we all switched to iPads and forgot about our Macintosh computers. Not "For the rest of us," anymore.
