Got in two workouts. They were meh but I did them. Looking to get to the gym twice this week.

Been recuperating this week after some medical issues. The good news is that I've been eating less. (tu)

Should be back on my bike in a day or two.

Just finished rowing a 10k (a bit longer than 54 minUtes).

Missed Saturday and was able to row a 10k for 6 of the 7 days this past week.

Finally took the time to put some air in the tires, lube the chain, and adjust the brakes. Was able to get in 3 rides in Stanley Park (once up to the top, then back to the entrance, and once around the sea wall).

Hardly any walking at all. That should increase next year when the school year begins, and I have a reason to walk to work.

That's a quick 10k!

4.22 miles walking on my treadmill desktop, 8.9 miles of intervals.

Now that my back is a bit better and I can run again I've found 2.5 miles a day is a bit of a plateau and I'm perusing the dilemma/choice of longer distance/better times and running every other day with a day of healing or cutting back and just getting the same old, same old daily routine.

But 5 -2.5 mile runs last week and averaging 4 miles a day walking and running.

Struggling keeping meal portions and midnite snacks.

Only one ride last week. Cut short by construction and waning daylight. I did find my climbing legs. At the end of the season. Just in time to put them away so I can search for them next year...

Got way too enthusiastic about cutting the grass last week, hurt my back, spent the next day on the floor with my feet up on a stool trying to rest it.
Still recuperating but looking forward to getting back to my on/off again fitness program.

finally did 7mi on the bike the other day, in addition to the usual 3 mi walkies. been 3 years off it since I messed up my knee. a slow return, but so far feeling good, other than the wretched humidity, and "back in the saddle" seat bone and neck pain.
Hope to get back to 12 mi RT to a nearby park and 20 mi at the park before weather gets too cold. Hopefully 3x a week plus daily walkies.
Sit bone is the worst of it and speeding SUV drivers what don't clear enough.

Go for the long haul. We aren't spring chickens so going shorter distances fewer days may extend your capability to exercise for an extra decade or more. Push hard and and you'll be visiting the doc for joint replacements, etc.
