I'm looking to have mrs. cbelt3's iPad 4 screen repaired, now that she has migrated to the Mini 4. It's not worth it to have Apple do the repair at $$$, but I'm willing to spend some cash. It looks like it's beyond my limited tech skills to do properly (I have replaced iPhone screens successfully, but there's this weird alignment thing..). So sending it out seems like a good idea.
Anyone here ever used such a service ?
TIA !

No, but my wife took our iPad 3 to one of the "uBreak iFix" places after my son dropped it and the glass shattered. Seems to work fine now.

This is the model with a 32 bit CPU that's only one step above my iPhone 4s?

Yes iPad 4 32bit, stuck at 10.3.3. They start at $100 for 16GB model on Groupon. Check swappa/eBay/gazelle for pricing to determine if it’s worth sending it out to get fixed or getting a used one.
