Yesterday I was working on my mom's Original Apple Watch (which now has the gen-1 battery bulge issue). I took her iPhone 5 out the case to find the batter has swelled, taking out the home button and part of the case. I don't want to fix it, but would like a like a reasonable low-end replacement. Anything from a 5 to 6s Plus would work. Needs to be functional and in halfway decent shape. Network is Verizon.

The SE would give her the guts of a ip6, and all of her ip5 cases would fit it. Swappa has Verizon models in good condition for around $125
