UN-WANTED: Anybody got an old Nikon F2 sitting in a box somewhere?
#1
Thanks for all of the messages and comments, but I think I'm not interested anymore. I have so much camera equipment already so don't need to replace anything that was lost.

Thanks again.

I still want an F2AS, for no other reason than I was smitten with the idea that I wanted to be a photojournalist as a young teen. Good luck!

Yeah, it's a great camera. It was always my go-to workhorse when I shot 35mm. I later found my old Nikormat, wish I had given her that one.

Try KEH.com, they have several.

Wish I did. I miss mine. Still have an F3HP which hasn't seen a roll of film since about 2000. Old film cameras are just so fun to fool around with.

Thanks, none of the model I lost and they are asking more than I paid new for their lesser models. I know I bought in '73 or '74, but still. I don't need it that bad. I have been checking ebay and there seems to be a few deals there.

Thanks!

my first Nikons were a pair of F3HPs with the MD4 drives.

I have a dust-free, black body F2 that I bought new, direct from EPOI in the mid 70's via EPP when I worked at a camera shop. I guess I could put it in a box and find some dust for it if you wanted it bad enough... I do have its original box in our storage locker. Also have vintage 28mm and 105mm lenses (and their original boxes) to help complete your nostalgia collection.
