RM- True self-cleaning, but not gonna use that anymore/anytime soon. Small kitchen, too much heat and stink, gotta move all the stuff from the upper cabinets, open window, set up fans. Plus, oven is literally right next to fridge, separated only by 3/4" cabinet wall. As per original post, "Manual suggests warm soapy water w/ soft cloth, but OK to let soap soak on baked on crud for 30 - 60 mins...", in slightly more manual-esque wordage, in addition to 'splainin' about using the self-clean feature. The water pan/self-steam seems like great idea.
