I wasn't aware Mono was so debilitating. NY Jets QB out indefinitely

at 23, working 2 part time jobs and full time school, took about 2 years to get back to normal. Landlord doesn't care you are sick, he just wants his money.

Our daughter had it last year while at university. It cost her (us) an entire quarter.

To be fair, 'indefinitely' just means 'we don't know how long'

My liver enzymes were still out of whack 18 months after first test from mono.

The semester made me really think hard about my life decisions. Ended up re-opting in for school rather than just getting grades that were 'good enough'. But don't recommend it as a universal 'character building' exercise!

Definitely a debilitating disease.

A girl on my floor in the dorm got it our freshman year. She was down and out for weeks, don’t remember if she had to drop classes. Not an experience I would want to have.

and, you generally only get it as a secondary condition. your body already needs to be run down, and immune system weak, as the virus is pretty fragile.
